Nohar is a municipal town in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. The town is located in the north-eastern border of the state and has an elevation of 186 metres above sea level. Bagri alongside Hindi is spoken in this part of Rajasthan. Influence of both Punjabi and Haryanvi culture is evident due to its close proximity of these two states.
The town is a part of the semi-arid area of Rajasthan and thus, experiences very little rainfall throughout the year. The climate is generally quite hot and sunny with very few and poor showers of rain during monsoon. There is however, some possibility of rainfall during winters, due to western disturbances.

The town is connected via road to other parts of Rajasthan. The roads are very well connected to major cities and districts of the state and long journeys are undertaken by government buses.
